RTK Valves and Actuators

RTK valves and actuators are precision flow-control components used to regulate liquids, gases, and steam in industrial process systems. RTK is commonly associated with control valves—often globe and three-way designs—paired with pneumatic or electric actuators that convert a control signal into smooth, repeatable valve movement.

In a typical control loop, a PLC or DCS sends a 4–20 mA or digital command to a positioner, which directs the actuator to adjust the valve plug in order to maintain a setpoint such as flow, pressure, temperature, or level.
